Who are we?
The UKI discs community aims to bring together the different disc communities across the UK & Ireland for those working on astrophysical discs on various scales, from circumplanetary to galactic discs. The initiative started at the University of Warwick in 2023. We have continued to organise yearly meetings to discuss astrophysical disc research.
If you are interested in building this community with us, please do sign up to our mailing list following the link below.
Research Topics
Our meetings include research on various topics on astrophysical discs which include (but not limited to) planet formation, debris discs, white dwarf disc, the impact of the environment, and warped discs.
